Q: What do you do?
A: In short, we're problem solvers. We create solutions for our customers that turn manufacturing byproducts into revenue streams as well as supply secondary raw materials for an ever-increasing array of manufacturers. Some people think of us as alchemists - turning garbage into gold.
Q: Do you work with other companies in our industry?
A: There are few manufacturing industries or distribution industries that we don't work with however every plant is distinct, every byproduct has unique characteristics, and the manner in which materials are handled may change from plant to plant. Before we propose a solution, we'd like you to tell us more about your business.
Q: We have no capital for recycling equipment, so we will have to wait until next year's budget to see if we can move this project forward... can you help?
A: We define recycling as an economic issue. If there is a financial reason for something to be recycled, it will get recycled. It is our job to create the opportunity. If the installation of recycling equipment will provide an economic solution, we will design, install and finance the equipment through the realization of new scrap revenue. There's no need to wait for corporate budgets to be approved and corporate bureaucracies to be scaled.
Q: What types of materials do you handle?
A: In addition to the commodity grades of paper and plastic, we create markets for commodity grades of paper and plastic, as well as difficult multi-material grades of scrap that are often landfilled including composite and organic materials.
Q: Do you take mixed loads of material?
A: While every case is unique, we are typically able to provide a solution that allows suppliers of mixed loads of material to most efficiently move their scrap materials.
Q: You're located in Chicago, can you take my scrap in all geographic regions of the country?
A: Donco has built a huge network of suppliers, markets, dealers and consumers throughout the world that allow us to service your locations wherever they are.
